Our story
Criddle Overland was built from a genuine love of adventure — and a lifelong appreciation for Land Rovers.
After years of travelling and completing trips in my own vehicles, I realised that a lot of roof tents and awnings looked the part but didn’t always perform properly in real conditions. Some were awkward to use, some struggled in poor weather, and many just weren’t built for long-term reliability.
I wanted equipment I could trust on my own trips.
So I created it.
Alongside my passion for overland travel has always been a strong appreciation for Land Rover Defenders — simple, capable vehicles built to go anywhere. Criddle Overland brings that same philosophy to both our expedition builds and our equipment.
Our roof tents and awnings are designed to be practical, durable, and easy to use — built for real UK and European conditions, not just for show.
Everything we do is focused on functionality, quality, and doing things properly.
